I have been practising yoga for 12 years, stepping onto the mat for the first time while at university. However, it wasn’t until I spent a year living in rural Japan that I realised the the transformative power of yoga and committed to a regular practice. In August 2014 I took the plunge and headed to Bali to become a certified vinyasa flow yoga teacher, through Frog Lotus Yoga International. I now teach weekly classes in south-west London to both adults and children.
My core belief is that yoga is for everyone: old, young, male or female, yoga is a practice that can offer you as much as you choose to accept. My intention is to guide you on your journey, making it as fulfilling and enjoyable as possible. My classes cater for the needs of each individual, focusing on developing strength and flexibility; teaching correct body alignment; and encouraging synchronicity between breath and movement. My classes are light-hearted and fun, while hopefully providing space for meditation too.
